Starring Mickey Rooney.All Andy Hardy wants is to make it to town and ask his girl to marry him but things go awry. Andy Hardy returns to his hometown after the war and meets up with sweetheart Kay Wilson at college. He woos Kay before finally asking for her hand in marriage but she rebuffs his offer, deciding to marry someone else instead. Heartbroken, Andy makes plans to leave for South America and forget his sorrows.
